Hi Everyone.

On April 30th, the Saturday that Todd and I get back from our Europe & Middle Eastern Epic Adventure, we are volunteering our time for a local 1-day missions trip to CityTeam's Engage San Jose event with Bernal Church.  

Since Israel is a spiritual journey for both of us, we thought...what better way to continue the journey by serving others before ourselves (even though we'll very likely be jet lagged).  ✈️  

What?

Our goal is to raise $250 each ($500 combined for Team Saber), so please donate what you can: $5 by skipping Starbucks on day, $20 by skipping a movie.  We only need 10 friends each to donate $25/person and we've hit our goal ?

Who can donate?

Anyone who wants to spread love to the world!  Whether you attend church or not, please consider donating to help feed the hungry, support someone's journey of fighting addiction, helping mother's learn how to take care of their infants, and giving teens a safe place to go to afterschool to stay out of trouble.

Why CityTeam?

First, when working at the Meet the Challenge event that was hosted at Bernal, I was energize, but it felt unfinished...I wanted to figure out how I could do more.  CityTeam picks up where I can do more.

CityTeam has helped friends and family of friends heal and survive hard times. I think they are accomplishing great things.  Particularly, while they feed those in need, what I'm drawn to is that they also teach people how to overcome addictions and find jobs, so each individual has more tools in thier toolbox for bettering their life.
