Bocephus’ story is one of resilience, hope, and second chances. Six years ago, during what we all remember as Snowmageddon, this sweet yellow lab was found on the side of the road, hit by a car and left for dead. A good Samaritan saw him, and despite the harsh weather, brought him to Somerset Animal Clinic. He was in bad shape—two badly injured legs, cold, and scared. But Bocephus was a fighter. Over the next several months, he went through multiple surgeries and a long recovery process, never losing the spark in his eyes. With the dedicated care of our team and Bocephus’ incredible spirit, he fought his way back to health. Eventually, he didn’t just survive—he thrived. His road to recovery wasn’t easy, but Bocephus never let his injuries slow him down. Despite his two bad legs, he runs, plays, and brings joy to everyone who meets him. Now, Bocephus is more than a patient—he’s part of our family at Somerset Animal Clinic. His story is a reminder of the resilience and strength of animals, and of the love and care they deserve.
