We were looking for a dog for the family during the pandemic in 2020. I had tried several shelters but no luck at that time. A teacher at my school told me a parent had found a pregnant dog and did I want a puppy. I gladly accepted. I was told that Siggy's mother was a Schnauzer. I was also told he was the second smallest dog, as the smallest dog did not survive. I was very surprised when I went to pick up Siggy, as he was small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. When I took him to the vet for the first time for his shot, the vet asked on the paperwork about his breed. I let them know he was a Schnauzer or possible Schnauzer mix. The vet took one look at Siggy and told me laughingly that he was probably a Yorkie. His exact pedigree is still a mystery but if I had a nickel for every time someone asks, I could pay for the DNA test. I can tell you that he is 100% Great Dog!!

About a year after having Siggy I came downstairs in the morning and found him all wet. I thought he had gotten into his water bowl. After I left that morning and came back he was wet again and lethargic, but mostly normal. Later that same day I was sitting in my office with Siggy sitting in the corner and witnessed him having a grand mal seizure. I scooped him up and took him to the emergency vet. It was Covid so I was outside while the vet saw him inside. She called me on the phone and asked what was going on with him. As I began explaining,  Siggy began having a seizure while at the office. He has been on medication ever since. My doggy has seizures but they are controlled by the medication he takes three times a day. He is a wonderful doggie and I am trying to raise money to help other doggies. Please Donate!
