To break away from long hours of working, we decided to take a little road trip up the beautiful California coast for a nice lunch on the ocean and a quiet walk on the the beach. We were so looking forward to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, the salty air, and a cool breeze for a change.

Well, that didn’t last long! All of a sudden, we were startled by a huge dark shadow overhead. We were astonished to see the Death Star had landed on the beach and Darth Vader and his Storm Troopers approaching us. As avid Star Wars fans, we were thrilled and scared at the same time. They had come down to capture us and surprisingly we secretly wanted to go. Darth Vadar, his Storm Troopers, and the Death Star what an adventure!?!

Reality shifted quickly once aboard the Death Star! We quickly realized what we thought was an adventure soon could be a nightmare and that we would need all of our friends and families’ help to GET HOME by raising $4,000.00 to see us again.

It was immediately apparent that the Storm Troopers had never had an opportunity to work with Hands4Hope to learn as young adults how Youth can Make a Difference in their communities. Had they only known that Hands4Hope is committed to our youth becoming future leaders, they may have taken a different path in life. All of our attempts to explain the incredible opportunity Hands4Hope provides for our youth in their communities unfortunately failed.

We just want to be home again. We appreciate anything you can contribute to get us back home. Every little bit helps!
