Qadiym is a dedicated Musician, Artist, and Designer on a mission to spread love and joy throughout life. With a relentless passion for learning, he embraces failure, curiosity, and action as guiding principles. His journey has been a diverse one, ranging from music to art, design to education, where he thrives as a problem solver with a knack for innovative thinking.? Currently, Qadiym is pursuing his architectural education at Dunwoody College. His pursuits span various domains including community engagement, tactical urbanism, architectural design, music production, and the ever-inspiring world of art. Outside of his professional endeavors, Qadiym finds joy in connecting with nature, staying active through exercise, and cherishing moments spent with loved ones. He values moments of peaceful reflection, finding solace in the beauty of life's simple pleasures. With a heart full of love and a spirit fueled by creativity, Qadiym is dedicated to making a positive impact in the world through his work and his commitment to spreading joy.

Meet Our Emcee!
Shayla Reaves joined WCCO in December 2020 as an anchor and reporter, contributing to the morning and mid-morning, and anchoring noon newscast. A graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, she was named the top broadcast student in her graduating class. Before moving to the Twin Cities, Shayla worked in Greenville, N.C. where she co-anchored evening newscasts for WNCT-TV (CBS). In Tampa, Fla. she served as a field reporter for the market's #1 rated morning show, "Good Day Tampa Bay" where she spent four years covering breaking news, hurricanes and news overnight. In addition to reporting, she fill-in anchored in Tampa and Columbus, Ohio. While in Columbus she earned an Emmy for coverage of a train derailment and explosion. Her career has also included four years of reporting in Louisville, Ky. When she is not reporting, Shayla enjoys spending time with her husband, crafting and exploring the Twin Cities!
