Camp Fire El Tesoro de la Vida Benefit Dinner directly supports our week-long grief camp for children which provides an accepting, normalizing camp experience where boys and girls who share the experience of the death of a loved one can cry, play, laugh and heal together.
Many families experience financial burden when they lose a loved one, and last year, 87% of grief campers attended on a full or partial scholarship. We do not turn away children in need.
