I’m thrilled to be participating in the 2025 EVkids Expanding Horizons Gala, our signature annual fundraiser supporting EVkids!

I’m passionate about EVkids and need your help! Every donation - big or small - helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts the ability of EVkids to serve our one-on-one tutoring/mentoring pairs for students in grades 3-12 in Dorchester, Roxbury, and Mattapan; our College Success students who have graduated and continue to receive critical support and mentorship in their next step; and our free annual Summer Camp in Vermont.

Here's how you can help:

• Donate: Contribute whatever you can. No amount is too small!  If you have an auction item, like a gift certificate or sports tickets or one-of-a-kind item, that would be amazing too!
• Come to the Gala: Buy a ticket and join me at the EVkids Expanding Horizons Gala on Saturday, November 8th at 6:30 pm at the Charles Hotel in Cambridge.  Emmy Award-winning news anchor - and EVkids alumna - Latoyia Edwards will be our emcee and host for a fun evening of heartwarming reflections from our EVkids, cocktails and great food, silent and live auctions, and fun.
• Spread the Word: Share my fundraising page with your friends, family, and social networks. Let’s spread awareness so we can raise more!

In my 7 years on the Board, it has been amazing to see the impact that these one-on-one relationships have on the tutees and the tutors/mentors, families, communities, and schools.  I have seen first-hand the power of unlocking and maximizing our EVkids' potential and self-belief, focusing on excelling at school, and providing long-term one-on-one mentoring and frequently lifetime relationships.
