I am raising money in memory of my mother, Sara Suggs Giles, whose 103rd birthday would have been September 24, 2024.  

My mom was a Greene County native, retired Educator/School Counselor and Community Activist. She was a mother of two, Michelle and Michael, but her true love was her granddaughter, Altovese Michelle Edwards Lister, born on her Grannie's birthdate on September 24,1975. 

I sponsored the Sara S.Giles Legacy Tigers Team annually since 2003 in the Duplin-Greene-Wayne Walk, however no Walk was scheduled this year. 

I consulted Dementia Alliance NC to inquire if there was an alternate way I could still have a fundraiser for the organization, and was happy to learn of their Every Gift, Every Caregiver fundraising initiative. I’m thrilled to be participating and supporting Dementia Alliance of North Carolina! I’m passionate about this cause and need your help! Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.
