On May 18, 2024, the Sailing Club of the Chesapeake (SCC) will once again host its Spring Regatta in Annapolis in support of the EWE Spirit Foundation. We encourage all boats and interested parties to create a fundraising team. By supporting these efforts, you are profoundly impacting countless lives!
For many years, pro sailor Geoff Ewenson enjoyed racing and playing here on the waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Tragically, Geoff passed away in October 2020 at the young age of 50. To continue his legacy of sportsmanship, generosity and compassion, his family and friends started the EWE Spirit Foundation, which helps people facing immediate hardship bridge financial and social support gaps through mentorship, outreach and financial assistance.
EWE Spirit Foundation is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
