This May, I am participating in the Sailing Club of the Chesapeake's EWE Spirit Cup, which is helping the EWE Spirit Foundation raise money to support individuals facing urgent and immediate needs. This foundation was started to honor my late brother Geoff; please follow the link to learn about him and this amazing way we celebrate his life!

Since 2021 the EWE Spirit Foundation has granted over $397,000 to 25 wonderful nonprofit organizations that provide shelter, food, child care, employment services and much more to those in our communities who are most in need, and the foundation is just getting started! Please join me in this effort by making a donation to help us reach our goal, so the foundation can continue this transformational work.

Our team's goal is to raise $500 for each of the 12.58 nautical miles of the anticipated race course. I'll sail on my 5 and a half foot long wingfoil board, competing against boats up to 44 feet. I'm focusing on rallying donations from friends and family from Geofff's hometown of Newport, RI, but any and all are welcome. I'd love to smash the race and the fundraising goal too.
