Last week, a nine year old girl saw one of ChildSafe's Cardboard Kids outside her counselor's office. She got the courage to tell the counselor that she was being abused and she wanted it to stop. She is now on the road to healing at ChildSafe.

Did you know that Bexar County had 4,941 confirmed cases of child abuse in 2015? This is a higher number of cases, than Harris County – with a child population twice that of Bexar County. Last year, 4 innocent children died from abuse or neglect inflicted by an adult. ChildSafe has set a goal of raising $1 million by April 30. ChildSafe already has a commitment from the Wade Richmond Foundation to match the first $100,000 raised. With $1 million, ChildSafe can serve an additional 2,000 children!
