I am thrilled and honored to be a part of the ChildSafe team. When asked why I work here, my instinctive answer is simple - I am a mother. The greatest treasure in my life is the blessing of my family, and the greatest desire of my life is to keep my children safe, healthy, happy, and equipped to accomplish every desire their hearts and minds can dream to achieve. ChildSafe has that same desire for every child living in Bexar County.

Unfortunately, child abuse is pervasive and ranks as one of the nation’s most pressing public health and social concerns. It also remains a commonly under-reported crime.

April is National Child Abuse Awareness Month. ChildSafe has set an extraordinary goal to raise $1 million during the month of April.  These funds will enable serving an additional 2,000 children who are victims of abuse and neglect.  

Mike & I have set a goal of raising $10,000 for this campaign this month. This $10,000 will sponsor 20 children for the entire year.
