Pitt/UPMC Anesthesiology is again taking part in the Academic Giving Competition (AGC), which will raise funds to support the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER) and its grantees, scholars, and fellows.

We all know the critical importance research represents to our field – research that wouldn’t be possible without ensuring a steady inflow of researchers into the specialty ready to move anesthesiology and medicine forward. 

In pursuit of that goal, every year FAER awards over $2.5 million in grants and sponsors more than 100 student fellows and resident scholars!

Every dollar raised will support FAER’s work to nurture anesthesiology’s physician-investigators. Every donation, no matter the amount, is truly meaningful. We are profoundly grateful for your generosity on behalf of our department, our specialty and the patients we care for.
