Hi friends,
This summer, I’m proud to be running the Falmouth Road Race to raise $1,200 for Beat Childhood Cancer, a foundation working to end childhood cancer through innovative research and compassionate support for families.
This foundation is very important to me because I am a CHILDHOOD CANCER SURVIVOR!! When I was just 8 years old, I was diagnosed with leukemia. My life quickly became a whirlwind of hospital visits, treatments, and moments no child should ever have to face. Thanks to the strength of my family, the dedication of my doctors, and the support of organizations like this one, I made it through. But I know not every child is as fortunate.
I’m running this race for the kids still fighting. For the families who sit by their child’s bedside hoping for a cure. For the chance to make a difference so that one day, no child has to hear the words, “You have cancer.”
Your donation will go directly to funding critical research and supporting children battling cancer right now. Every dollar gets us closer to a world where childhood cancer is not a life sentence.
Please consider donating, sharing my page, or cheering me on as I take on these 7 miles with purpose, gratitude, and hope.
Thank you for supporting me and for standing with every child in this fight.
