Hi friends!

This is my second year raising money for the P.A.C.E. team and I am honored to be representing as a PACEMAKER this year! I have been blessed to be a part of Camp del Corazon family since I was 10-year-old. Since then, I have joined the volunteer team, camp counselor team as Kazoo, and P.A.C.E. leadership! (Give me 4 years and I’ll be a med nurse hehe). Heart Camp’s life-changing magic doesn’t have to end when campers turn 18.

Through the P.A.C.E. program, I have the opportunity to meet more youth affected by congenital heart defects and grow into a better individual as a community. The Progressive Adult Cardiac Experience is designed to equip young adults with necessary life skills such as navigating health insurance with heart disease and transitioning from pediatric to adult cardiac care. Outside of the retreat, we host year-round events to further build our friendships and network with one another. Many who join have never been a Camp del Corazon camper before and this is their chance to become involved in unique, life-changing organization.

I want to further that cause and it starts with you supporting our mission. By donating, you can provide other young adults with a second family and the resources they need to succeed in life. This is the most efficient way to promote my fundraising efforts.

This year’s theme is a 30-day challenge and I’ve set mine for 30 miles! Throughout the month, I plan to stay active, share my story, and raise awareness of congenital heart defects. I hope that you’ll join me on my journey and even make a fundraising challenge for yourself!
