Families are the foundation of any community, and the children are the future. Making sure families are stable, educated, and happy are vital to creating a long-lasting prosperous community. That’s why it is our mission to help families thrive. Through engaging activities, educational opportunities, and financial support families are directed towards the path of self-sufficiency.
There are three main areas in which we help families: Crisis intervention, Financial Stability, and Family Development. With the first, assistance is provided to families needing food, temporary housing, bill assistance, and other crisis situations. Clients can then be taken into the Financial Stability programming, where adults can learn how to increase income and/or decrease spending, and become workforce ready through other educational opportunities. Family Development courses bring the focus back to the family as a whole, with a goal of not only improving parenting skills but building the relationship between children, youth and parents.
The proceeds from this online event will go back towards our mission of helping families thrive, and building a more prosperous community.
