Meet Apple. This precious dog made her way to Colorado with the help of Rescued Pets Movement to start her journey to a loving home she could call her own. While in transit, Apple went into active labor and delivered eight beautiful puppies. We went from helping one dog to helping nine! Stories like Apple's are an example of how crucial spay/neuter is to preventing unplanned litters.
Luckily, Apple fell into the right hands at the right time. Our Foster & Transfer team were able to quickly coordinate a foster volunteer to take them in so this momma dog can raise her puppies in the comfort of a caring home. While we are grateful to have them safe and in our care, we were not expecting to take on eight additional puppies. We can’t continue our life-saving work without your help.
