Why Give?

In 2022, over 111,000 lives were tragically lost to drug overdoses—nearly 70% due to fentanyl. These aren't just statistics; they are parents, siblings, children, and friends, gone too soon.

Fentanyl Fathers was founded in late 2022 by families who experienced this heartache firsthand. Their mission? To prevent more families from suffering the same fate by raising awareness and empowering communities with life-saving knowledge.

With a minimal budget, we reached over 60,000 middle and high school students in five states in 2023. After our presentations, students reported a 32% decrease in perceived barriers to accessing naloxone—an overdose-reversing medication—and a 20% increase in confidence about recognizing and responding to a drug overdose. These are real, measurable impacts that save lives.

For the first time since 2018, 2023 marked a decline in overdose deaths. This encouraging trend shows that education works, but we cannot stop now. We've expanded into more communities, and we’re fighting to make fentanyl awareness a standard part of school health programs across the country.

Your donation today ensures that we can continue this critical work. Every dollar helps us reach more students, equip more schools, and protect more families from the devastating impact of fentanyl poisoning.

Together, we can save lives.
