Our Story
In 2023, over 115,000 people lost their lives to drug overdoses—nearly 70% due to fentanyl.
Fentanyl Fathers was founded in late 2022 by grieving families determined to advance fentanyl awareness and overdose prevention in schools across the country.
In just our first year, we reached over 60,000 high school and middle school students in 5 states, working with a budget of only $50,000. After our presentations, students reported a 32% reduction in perceived barriers to accessing naloxone, a life-saving overdose reversal medication, and a 15-20% increase in confidence in how to respond to a drug overdose.
This year, we’re expanding our reach to more communities, ensuring fentanyl education becomes a standard part of school health programs. Our mission is clear: to stop the needless deaths caused by illicit fentanyl and save as many lives as possible.
With your support, we can bring these life-saving programs to more schools and protect even more families from this devastating crisis.
