I'm walking for my Godmother Joann. She is truly the definition of the word "resilience." Breast cancer marks her third battle with cancer, but this has not stopped her from being an incredible mother, friend, or professional. My Aunt Joann has not only stepped up to become a principal while fighting cancer, but also managed to run her school with a staff completely new to her during a pandemic. My whole life, I have never seen her without a smile on her face and I don't think I ever will. To know Joann is to love her, and l'm so happy to be able to honor her in such a special way!
