Many of you know that Jovenes en Camino is near and dear to my heart, but let me tell you why!

I decided for my 50th birthday it was time that I go on a Mission Trip so, I signed up to go with my church to Honduras in 2017. Part of that trip included time at an amazing boys home called Jovenes en Camino and I just fell in love with the mission and the boys there! After returning home, I couldn't stop thinking about how I could sponsor one of the boys and have it be someone that I really got to know vs just sending a check to some huge organizaiton and never having any personal interaction.  A sweet 14 yr old young man named Josian had come to Jovenes recently so that is who our family chose to sponsor! It has been such a blessing these past 6 years to watch him grow and see the amazing folks at Jovenes pour into him and show him God's love.  He is grown up now and gone back to his hometown to make his way in the world and I pray that the love, care and education he received during his years at Jovenes will serve him well!

I went back the following year with my daughter Christine, who was 10 at the time and we got to meet Josian in person - it was a wonderful time!! We saw him again the following year and then COVID messed up our trips for the past few years, but we hope to get back there again soon!

I would be so grateful if you will join me in supporting their mission to help homeless and struggling boys in Honduras to show them God's love and give them opportunities at a vibrant life!  Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
