JEC holds a special place in my heart. My journey with this remarkable organization began when I was just 15 years old, and thanks to Sarah Catherine, I’ve been able to reengage and work hands on with JEC for the last several years. For that, I am immensely grateful. As stated in the Jovenes video, there are two types of hunger: the hunger for bread and the hunger for love. This organization provides both for these precious boys who would otherwise grow up without a family and without knowing when their next meal would come. 

These boys have absolutely changed my life more than I could have ever dreamed. I wish that everyone could experience a trip to Honduras – the opportunity to love on the boys, interact with the administration, and witness the incredible work being done at Jovenes. However, I understand that not everyone has the time/availability/desire for such a trip.
