At 22 years old, I found myself waking up in Honduras doing something I loved. Now at 35, I see just how lucky I was to be a part of something so incredible as my first 'job' out of college. Jovenes en Camino is about to turn 20, and I can't begin to quantify the impact it's had in my life. More importantly the impact it's had on the boys who came to know Jovenes as their home.

If you found yourself on this page, you probably know me and/or knew I lived in Honduras for almost fours. In a country that's cripled with poverty, you learn about what really matters in life and how to be happy with less. For me, this was an incredibly formative experience which shaped my values, priorities, and outlook on life. While it's been the honor of my life seeing these boys become men, there are many, many challenges along the way.

Jovenes is a special place, and it is doing special things. I'm lucky enough to keep in touch with many of the boys I knew when I lived there, and the impact Jovenes had on their lives is palpable. While most of these boys are now young men, there's a new generation that needs Jovenes, and they need our help.
