I first got involved with Healthier Moms and Babies in 2006. I had just graduated from Leadership Fort Wayne and was given the opportunity to serve on a not-for-profit board of my choice. Because I had young children at the time, HMB seemed like the perfect fit...and it was. I served on the advisory board for over 10 years in a variety of roles. Healthier Moms and Babies has come a long way since those days and Fighting for Firsts is just the next step in helping to serve our community and the most precious resource we have.
