Kalaimangai Anbalagan is the founder and artistic director of AmudhaSri Dance School. She is the disciple of Guru. Kalaimamani Smt Vadivudevi Pillai, and later Smt. Suryakala Chandrika Jeevananthan, Canada.
AmudhaSri Dance School strongly believes in giving back to the community by contributing to fundraisers and institutions like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Vision Aid, Adyar Cancer Institute, Genesis Foundation, Umass Pancreatic Cancer Research.
Autism has affected many members in our community and we hope through this annual day recital, we continue to bring awareness. Flutie Foundation helps connect families with community services and offers support for those families.
This annual day, 110 dancers will be performing a variety of dances. We will be presenting Bharatnatyam, a traditional Indian dance. Our dancers range from 4 years of age to 45+ years . The dance requires complex footwork and choregraphy. Our dancers have dedicated many hours of disciplined practice and hope to present all different types of bharatnatyam dance to our audience.

2016: Organized Fundraiser performance with more than 80+ classical dancers for St.Judes Children Cancer Research.
2017: Organized Fundraiser performance with more than 100+ classical dancers for St.Judes Children Cancer Research.
2018: Organized Fundraiser performance with more than 108 classical dancers for Umass Pancreatic Cancer research.
2019: Organized Fundraiser performance with more than 100+ dancers for Genesis Foundation.
And always being part of all the dance fundraiser events happening in our community like Vision Aid, Adyar Cancer Institue, and many.
