About the Foundation

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County Foundation was established in 2019 to build awareness about the Club and to raise funds for our endowment.  The Foundation helps to ensure that the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County has a lasting legacy in the community.

The founding members of the Foundation set a goal of raising $20,000,000 in 20 years. The foundation plans to increase the number of Foundation members annually. By building a significant endowment, the Club is consciously building a financial bedrock for the organization, planting solid roots with the intention of being a permanent institution in our community, and solidifying the future of the Boys and Girls Clubs for decades to come.

About BGC Mercer:

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County provide young people, ages 5-18, with educational, social, enrichment and recreational activities through after school and summer programs.  Our programs focus on building bright futures! Each year BGC Mercer gives 2,600 youth access to programs that provide character and leadership skill development, college and career preparation, and knowledge about healthier living.  Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
