Do I need to RSVP to attend the Founder's Day 2022 live event on Zoom?
Yes! In order to receive details and the link to the Zoom event, please register. If you have trouble registering, you can always contact NYF. We'll be happy to help or register on your behalf.
I am new to Zoom. Do I need to make an account?
Since you will be attending Zoom as a guest to Founder's Day 2022, you do not need to create a Zoom account. Once you have RSVP'd, all you have to do to join the event is click on the invitation link (which will be emailed to you prior to the event) or go to join.zoom.us and enter in the meeting ID. Can I turn my video/audio on during the Zoom event?
Your microphone will automatically be turned off when you join us on Zoom, but we would love to see you on video during the event! At the end of the program, you will have the option to unmute, and you are more than welcome to chat with Olga, Som, and one another.
I would like to make a Founder's Day 2022 gift, but do not want to donate online. Can I mail a check or send my gift another way?
Absolutely. You can make a Founder's Day 2022 donation via check, PayPal, over the phone, through our website, or even through your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF). We'll be happy to designate it to Founder's Day 2022 — just make sure to leave a note or let us know!
What if I cannot attend?
NYF will be recording the event for all those who cannot attend, or for those who would like to enjoy it again. Please RSVP even if you cannot attend so you can have first access to the recording.
Can I participate in the auction without registering or attending Founder's Day?
You will still need a ticket code to participate in the auction, so you must register even if you cannot attend the Zoom event.
I have registered, but did not receive a confirmation e-mail and/or I cannot find my ticket code.
If you did not receive your confirmation e-mail, please contact NYF (info@nepalyouthfoundation.org) and we will be happy to re-send your confirmation e-mail. Note that it could be in your spam/junk folder. If you cannot find your ticket code, please contact NYF as we can find it and share it with you.
