Freed to Run is an excellent fundraiser for a great cause. JALA does so much for our  residents, ensuring they have fair access to the legal system and the support necessary when facing legal issues. I am so graeful to be a part of this event.

We will be running from the Baker County Courthouse to the Duval County Courthouse raising donations for JALA. This run is part of a larger 6 marathons in 6 days point-to-point relay. Freed to Run donations go directly to Jacksonville Legal Aid's endowment for the Northeast Florida Medical Legal Partnership fund and are matched by the Baptist Health Foundation at 125%!! The NFMLP serves more than 200 children per year, solving legal issues that impact their health care.The services funded include getting these children access to health insurance and other public benefits, advocacy in family law, consumer protection, immigration, and ensuring safe and affordable housing.
