I’m thrilled to be participating in the Book-It 5k Challenge, a fundraiser supporting Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library! Every step I take will help raise funds for vital library programs like free homework help and tutoring, adult literacy classes, cultural events, and mobile device lending across all 50 branches in Miami-Dade County. Every donation helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.

Starting March 1st, I aim to run a total of 18 miles over the course of a week! I am so very grateful to be supported in this effort by colleagues and friends who will join me in running 5k on Sunday, March 8 to close out the event! 

While I'm out cruising through the Miami streets, here's how you can help reach my goal of $180:
