I'm raising money for the Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library!

Hi! My name is Bianca, and I’m running the Book-It 5K Challenge as part of my mitzvah project.

For my mitzvah, I wanted to do something that gives back to my community in a meaningful way. Libraries have always been important to me — they are places where people can learn, read, get help with schoolwork, and feel welcome no matter who they are. That’s why I chose to support the Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library, which helps all 50 library branches across our county.

By running this 5K and raising money, I’m helping support programs like free homework help and tutoring, adult literacy classes, cultural events, and access to technology for people who need it. Every donation helps the library continue to be a place where everyone can learn and grow.
