Art in the Round supports people with developmental disabilities as artists with talent to be shared. Their talents and skills are also shared in the marketplace as employees contributing to companies’ bottom lines and earning a paycheck. People with disabilities work in foodservice, as technicians and administrative aides, and in production facilities across the region. Many of the Art in the Round artists work full time, others want to work.
Since Covid, 35 new companies have hired people we support, meaning we now work with over 100 employers. This year’s Fund the Mission asks you to help us keep the momentum going.

My Story
The Arc Baltimore supports people with developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives with a sense of belonging, purpose and meaningful relationships. Since my retirement from MICA in 2017, I have been volunteering organizing museum, gallery and artist studio visits and art workshops. Our amazing partners include MICA, BMA, Walters Art Museum, Baltimore Clayworks and School 33 Art Center.
