The Dorit & Ben J. Genet Cupboard kosher food pantry of Goodman JFS (the Cupboard), serves its clients and those in the Broward County Jewish community —and beyond— who have been identified as food insecure. Cupboard clients include individuals and families experiencing hardships, domestic abuse survivors, and seniors, including Holocaust survivors.
At the Cupboard, our clients are provided the dignity to shop by private appointment in our pantry that offers choices, rather than a one size fits all food box. Volunteers deliver food to homebound seniors and those with disabilities. We partner with local synagogues and municipalities all throughout Broward County to distribute food to the community.
