This November, I am taking on the Freed to Run 12-hour individual challenge with a special purpose close to my heart. Luis Foster, a dear and personal friend of mine, passed away on Monday, November 18. Luis was an incredible person whose impact on those who knew him was profound. As I lace up my shoes for this event, I want to honor his memory in a way that reflects his generosity and spirit.

To celebrate Luis’s life, I’m pledging to donate $10 for every lap I complete during the challenge to Jacksonville Area Legal Aid in his memory. I wanted to go a step further to create something meaningful in Luis’s name.
