For the past 8 years, Mara Hair and Mode Studio has proudly stood with the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation in the fight against breast cancer. This cause is close to our hearts—we’ve seen friends, family, and clients face this disease with courage.

In 2025, with your support, we raised $11,375. This year, and together, we hope to exceed that!

Raffle Prizes

Every donation enters you into our raffle for amazing prizes from local businesses and our salon. 100% of funds go directly to VBCF.

• In Salon: Show your receipt at the desk for tickets. Donate with cash or QR code.

• Online: Email sales@marahairandmode.com with your receipt, full name, phone number, and which prize numbers you want us to put your tickets towards.

• Winners will be announced Oct 30th at our end of month event. Read below how you can attend.

Cut-a-Thon ✂️

• When: Throughout October - (in the past we've done 1 Sunday, this year we've changed it up to be more flexible with dates and times).

• What: Dry haircuts, braids, or pink glosses for a $60+ donation (cash or QR code). 100% will be donated. You can still tip your stylist!

• Book: text 571-992-0407 or call 703-591-9099 and mention that you are booking for breast cancer fundraiser.

• Reminder: Please arrive with clean, dry hair.

Why VBCF?

VBCF is Virginia’s only statewide, independent nonprofit dedicated to breast cancer. They provide free education, support kits for patients and caregivers, and advocate for better access to care. Your donation helps Virginians directly.
