LET'S PIVOT FROM PACKING TO FUNDING LUNCH!

Haiti is in terrible pain and turmoil as gangs continue to wreak such havoc that the meals we packed last year cannot be delivered to "our" school in Bois Negresse.

The Good News: 

• the children Future Forward for Haiti supports are in remote mountain areas and continue to attend school each day and enjoy locally made lunches! 
• Summer Fun Camp provides lunch all season!
• Packathon meals have become emergency aid to children, widows, and families forced to flee their homes.

So we are pivoting from packing meals to funding meals locally provisioned near Bois Negresse. Our commitment to our students calls us to make this change! And we are confident to send money as we have 17 years of success with electronic transfers for everything from teacher salaries to school construction.

We project $30,000 will buy enough rice, beans, and vegetables in Haiti for 190 children to eat nutritious lunches every weekday through 2026. This is the same funding goal as last year: we can meet it again!  With half the population in Haiti experiencing acute hunger, our school children need food now more than ever.
