Join Zeno on Thursday, October 28th and help us change the game for children and families!
This October, Zeno is hosting our virtual Game Changers event. Game Changers is our annual celebration where we highlight community partnerships, amplify the voices of families in our program, and raise funds critical to Zeno’s early math program. This year’s theme is Stay Together, Play Together and will feature Zeno Game favorites, highlight one of community collaborations and feature a special keynote speaker!
Despite the disruptions caused by COVID-19, Zeno’s commitment to preventing early opportunity gaps in math remains stronger than ever. As we navigate this current health crisis, we continue to create playful moments that bring children, parenting adults, and providers together to learn math.
Join us to learn more about Zeno’s work in the community, listen to stories from Zeno partners and families, and learn more about Zeno’s impact! We are proud to offer this event free to everyone, and deeply appreciate donations of any amount.
There is no such thing as a life lived without math. Beyond grades and test scores, Zeno changes hearts and minds so children of all backgrounds know that they too can be a doer and lover of math. By starting early, making math fun, including families, and working with community-based partners, we are removing the barriers that families of color face in accessing early math tools and resources.
Today more families and providers are self-identifying as math people, specifically our surveys show twice as many families and providers are saying that they “strongly agree” that they identify as a math person as a result of their work with Zeno.
This year Zeno distributed 31,000 early math games to nearly 6,000 families across 150 partner sites in Washington State during the 2020-2021 school year.
