On March 22,2006 , after two years of abnormal mammograms , I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer . I spent the following 1 1/2 years having a double mastectomy, chemo , radiation and reconstruction. I am happy to say I will have been out of treatment and cancer free for 11 years this December. Liz and I try to participate in as many Gloria Gemma fundraising events as possible , we hope you can run/walk with us this year.
