Hello! My name is Danielle and I am a second-year member of the Giving Initiative for Teens philanthropy board. We are made up of Jewish high school students from around the Seattle area who feel passionate about taking action on the prevalent issues that our world is facing. Our goal is to make an impact on our community and beyond with the funds that we raise and allocate to non-profit organizations that are making a difference.

This year we have selected the Jewish values of responsibility, pursuing peace, and sustainability, to use as a lens while we address issues around poverty and homelessness around the world.

Living in Seattle, where homelessness is an extremely prevalent issue that we observe every day, we felt called to do something about it, both here locally and elsewhere in the world where others may be facing the same challenges.
