JEFF: “I’m going Over the Edge in honor of the strongest and bravest woman I know-my wife Mundy, a two time cancer survivor. I’ve watched her battle and win over Stage 3 colon cancer. Always positive and with a sense of humor and the determination to beat it. She didn’t miss a day of work during six months of chemo. (Not too many people even knew that she was toting a chemo pump in her purse during that time.) She remained cancer free for a year and a half until it returned to her brain. Again, her attitude was “I beat it once, I can beat it again.” She had a brain tumor removed and state of the art gamma knife surgery to eliminate the rest of it. Today, she is cancer free and remains an inspiration and maintains her positive attitude living each day to the fullest.
We’ve always supported Gilda’s Club with our contributions never even thinking we’d benefit from their services. Gilda’s Club is a free, non profit support community for anyone touched by cancer. 100% of all dollars raised go directly to Gilda’s of South Florida.”
GISELLE: “After visiting Gilda’s Club, I knew I had to get involved. As a Mom of two children, I was so impressed with Noogieland. It's a support program for children who have bbeen diagnosed with cancer or have a loved one with cancer. Noogieland has workshops that are both educational and interactive. Kids are allowed to be kids, They play, laugh, and learn through art and other activities. If you ever have the chance to visit Gildas Club. Call me. I know you'll be impressed too with Noogieland.
