I first joined Gilda's Club in May of 2023 when my mom received her Stage 4 Breast Cancer diagnosis. I was looking for connection to others that truly understood what it was like to care for a loved one with a cancer diagnosis and for support as my family navigated what was next. I found a group of people that welcomed me with open arms and that have walked with me through the most challenging time of my life. They have become family.

I am fundraising for Gilda's Club in memory of my mom, who passed away in February of this year. I'd like to be able to give back, so that Gilda's can continue to provide free support services to others that are or will be in a position just like me. Cancer is a journey that no one should have to go through alone.
