What is Gilda’s Club Wisconsin?
Gilda’s Club Wisconsin is a nonprofit cancer support community that provides free emotional support, cancer education, and hope to thousands of children and adults impacted by any kind of cancer and to those who care for them.
Our Mission: Gilda’s Club Wisconsin uplifts and strengthens people impacted by cancer by providing support, fostering compassionate communities, and breaking down barriers to care.
So that no one faces cancer alone.

Is Gilda's Run/Walk virtual this year?
No...and yes! In 2026, we will host an in-person race on October 4th. We will also offer a virtual option for anyone who prefers to run or walk on their own.
What is a virtual race?
Although Gilda's Run/Walk will be offered in-person this year, you may choose to participate virtually. A virtual race is a race that you can do anywhere and anytime!
How does it work? You can run your 5k or walk your two miles anywhere, anytime during the month of October. Please note: Virtual participants will not receive their t-shirt or beanie until after the event.
What should I do with cash and/or check donations that I receive?
Mail or drop off cash/checks to Gilda’s Club Wisconsin, 7907 UW Health Ct, Middleton, WI 53562. Please be sure to include your full name and team name (if applicable), as well as the name/contact of your donor (if the gift is provided in cash). Please mail by September 25th to ensure funds are included in your fundraising totals.
Can I split the distance up into different runs/walks/days?
If you participate virtually, we encourage you to take your time and make this event your own.
When can I pick up my Run/Walk gear?
Gear pickup will be at Gilda's Club Wisconsin (7907 UW Health Ct. in Middleton) on the following dates/times:

Thursday, October 1st, 2026, from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm @ Gilda’s Clubhouse (7907 UW Health Court in Middleton)

Sunday, October 4th, 2026, from 8:00 am - 9:30 am prior to the start of the Run/Walk @ Gilda's Club Parking Lot (7907 UW Health Court in Middleton)
Will the clubhouse be open during the event?
Due to the City of Middleton permitting, Gilda's clubhouse will be closed during the event, and event attendees will not have access.
Portable restrooms and hand sanitizing stations will be available for participants. Thank you for understanding.
Can I have my shirt shipped?
Of course! We can ship your t-shirt and packet to you for a fee, but be sure to add the shipping option during the registration process. The shirts will be shipped by the end of October 2026.
Do you allow dogs?
We ask that you keep your furry family members at home. Thank you for understanding!
Do you allow strollers?
Yes! Please bring strollers, wagons, and other accessories that will help make the Run/Walk/Roll more comfortable.
