This Christmas season, I’m participating in the Gingerbread Home Build, a competition that raises money to build an affordable home for a local veteran's family. The veteran, Monya, is a mother of three and a full-time medical assistant who has struggled to find affordable housing in Colorado Springs.
I had 24 hours to decorate a gingerbread house for the competition. You can help me win — and support a good cause — by donating to cast a vote for my gingerbread house.
I'm taking part in this fundraiser because I believe in Pikes Peak Habitat for 
Humanity’s mission of putting God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
