My experiences as a child of undocumented Mexican immigrants fueled my interest and ignited a sense of obligation and commitment to immigration advocacy. I strives for concrete systemic change within the immigration and educational systems and recognize that outreach, advocacy, and building power in our communities play a crucial part in challenging their ineffectiveness and inequity.
