To get there, we must expand unemployment insurance to include undocumented workers. We need to support multilingual students and families and expand dual language programs in schools. In our thriving home, families must be together and free from deportation and detention.

Through my parents I was able to see first-hand the struggle of navigating this country with limited language skills and having the color of your skin dictate how people treated you. I support OneAmerica because it is a place that offers opportunities for immigrants to learn more about this country and succeed!
