I believe every child deserves the chance of a healthy future.
That’s why I am fundraising for the children and families at Nemours Children’s Hospital. I support the Nemours promise to do whatever it takes to prevent and treat even the most disabling childhood conditions.
In January 2024, my son Maverick was born with transposition of the great arteries (TGA) and required open-heart surgery shortly after birth. He faced numerous challenges during his 7-week journey in the NICU, including weight gain obstacles and infections, before ultimately undergoing successful surgery. Unfortunately, Maverick passed away on March 23, 2024, due to complications.
His strength and the compassionate care we received at Nemours inspired me to create this event in his honor. Will you join me?
