This January help Insurance Offices of America raise funds for the patients and families at Nemours Children's Hospital!
Nemours is built on the foundation that no child should suffer because of a lack of access to healthcare.
Since opening our first major hospital in Orlando, Nemours Children’s Hospital, in October 2012 we have healed more than 250,000 children from birth to age 18 hailing from all 67 Florida counties and 68 countries around the globe. Nemours is home to more than 30 medical specialties and provides world class care for pediatric conditions from the common to the very complex
During 2019 children with chronic complex medical conditions comprised 70% of the patients discharged. Additionally 63% could not afford or lacked adequate health insurance, with Nemours providing 42 million in uncompensated or unreimbursed care right here in Orlando.
Your help will provide funding for vital services that directly enhance and support the patient and family experience at Nemours Children's Hospital; including but not limited to:
Social work to connect patients and families with community support resources.
Translation services to ensure important medical information is received and understood.
Chaplain services to care for a broad array of spiritual needs.
Technology advancements to create greater access to care and expand treatment options for children in our care.
