I love being a BIG to my LITTLE Rebecca. We have so much in common - we love to sing and dance, we love to play board and card games, we enjoy being outdoors and we love Italian food. I was not sure that I was supposed to be a BIG. But God just kept giving me signs - an article in one of the local newspapers, the donate to charity button at a retail store and then me just listening........ Being a BIG is one of the best things I have done for myself in a long time and I know that I am making a difference in the life of my LITTLE. She is learning to love to read and I have taken her to the library 3 times. She is enjoying learning to do crafts, and we have now done ceramics, painting and made friendship bracelets. She also loves to cook and we spent an afternoon in my home baking all sorts of things.

You can be a BIG! I see my LITTLE twice a month for an evening or a few hours. We like to do things that don't cost anything on one outing (like attending game night at the BBBS Center downtown) and then we do something on our other outing that we have planned together - like dinner and movie, or bowling, or going to the Zoo, the cat cafe........
