As the Director of Development at NBGC, I witness every day how our programs change lives. For over 93 years, NBGC has been a safe haven and a source of inspiration for youth across 15 communities. From out-of-school and after-school programs to athletics and leadership opportunities, we provide a foundation where kids can grow, thrive, and succeed.

Each year, we serve 2,500 youth—roughly 500 kids every day! One of my favorite programs is our free Youth Leadership Program, which empowers over 150 young people to build confidence, develop skills, and give back to their communities.

This work is more than a job for me—it’s personal. My two boys, Teddy (7) and Winston (5), are part of the NBGC family, participating in our programs and experiencing firsthand the community, friendship, and growth that NBGC offers.

This GivingTuesday, I’ve set an ambitious personal goal: to raise $10,000 through this Peer-to-Peer campaign. Every dollar raised will go directly to ensuring NBGC can continue to support our kids and expand our reach.
