I am a board member of the Giving Initiative For Teens, a teen philanthropy program in the Greater Seattle Area that is guided by the Jewish values of "compassion" and "not standing idly by" to support organizations in our community that are making positive change around mental health
I am fundraising for this cause because I believe that mental health should be a priority, and it should be discussed more since 1 in every 5 young adults lives with a mental health condition. Without the proper state of mind, one cannot work towards larger goals, and be successful in life.
So, I am choosing to support organizations that will make a positive impact on these people's lives and I hope you do too!
