We may be grounded, but we can still extend a hand to our neighbors around the world! And as tough as things are at home, poor families in developing countries now have a virus and unemployment added to their inherited disadvantages.
The Fuller Center has been forced to cancel dozens of volunteer trips that were meant to give more families decent places to live. To pick up the slack, we can sponsor homes built using the sweat equity of the families and other local labor. The work will be overseen by local Fuller Center leaders. Right now, this is one of the only practical ways to give a few more families a shot at more secure homes.
We are focusing this fundraiser on Zenaida, Axel, and their family. Three years after their home was hit hard by Hurricane Maria, they have not yet had the means to patch up their home or build a better one.
