Welcome to GLOBE Trot!
On Friday, November 10, 2023, GLOBE students will walk, run, and race their way through GLOBE’s biggest fundraiser of the year. In the weeks leading up to the event, students will use their fundraising pages, to raise money from friends, neighbors, family members and community partners. Our goal is to achieve 100% student fundraising participation to raise $135,000 that directly support the purchase of school technology and classroom supplies that our students and teachers need.
As a Dekalb County public charter school, GLOBE does not receive a proportionate share of public funding through Special Purpose Local Option Sales Taxes (SPLOST) that traditional public schools receive for capital projects and to maintain their facilities. As a result, the GLOBE Academy relies on generous donations from the community to advance its mission of building globally minded citizens who will effect change in the world — and who live in accordance with our core values of Community, Respect, Empathy, Sustainability, and Trust.
We're excited for a successful GLOBE Trot, and we appreciate your support!
Run. Race. Give!
